Educational path
The three-year Bachelor’s Degree course is aimed at training a professional designer who works in the field of visual communication, graphics, multimedia, and online interaction.
Knowledge will be developed to translate the elements of analysis and the information content framework into new artefacts and new communication formats, both through the application of analogue and digital communication technologies and through the integration of different systems and different media for realization of cross-media solutions.
Outgoing profile
At the end of the three-year period, the individual will be a designer who possesses the skills to carry out multiple technical design activities: from the moment of conception, to design, development, and implementation, up to the production of serial formats and diffusion into the media system.
MASTER OF SCIENCE
Educational path
The educational objectives of the Master of Science in Communication Design are aimed at increasing the level of theoretical and systemic skills and the creation of a designer who—after having acquired technical and design skills in the field of media and artefacts of a different nature—is able to define strategic concepts related to the design of complex communication systems, with particular reference to digital environments.
The Master’s Degree holder will be able to design innovative connections and new forms of intermedia communication, to work and interact in multidisciplinary and multicultural groups, and to play a role as designer–director with high leadership skills to guide and make a group cohesive around a vision or a design scenario.
Outgoing profile
The MSc candidate will acquire skills aimed at the formation of a critical culture of Communication Design to become a proactive individual who works within society, shaping the contents of communication with awareness and responsibility.
