Design thinking is a term that, in recent years, has become increasingly widespread, leading it to become an "umbrella term" that risks signifying something profoundly different depending on who uses it. The goal of this thesis is to provide snapshots of the current state of the debate and its evolution, which may be useful to the actors involved: researchers, consulting firms, and professionals. The research wants to try to bring out patterns and connections through visualization.
